Wireless environmental monitoring node
Compact architecture with environmental sensors, wireless connectivity, battery power and USB-C charging.
I am a hardware engineer with a background in automation, electronic design and embedded systems. I focus on turning requirements into clear architectures, documented designs and hardware that can be verified under real-world conditions.

Personal projects documented from problem and architecture to schematic, PCB and validation plans. Designed features are clearly distinguished from tested results.

Three-phase monitoring hardware with a dedicated metering front end, ESP32-S3 and Ethernet.

ESP32-S3 host board and interchangeable radio modules for exploring wireless protocols.
Hardware development is more than drawing circuits: it means making decisions that can be explained, reviewed and verified.
Functions, constraints, operating context and success criteria.
Subsystems, options, interfaces and engineering trade-offs.
Components, circuits, PCB and reproducible documentation.
Reviews, prototypes, measurements and iterations when applicable.
From field engineering to electronic systems design.
I hold a degree in Automation Engineering from the Technological University of Havana. My career began with integration, commissioning and troubleshooting of electronic and automation systems.
That experience exposed me to the problems that arise when electronics must operate in real installations. I later shifted my focus toward hardware architecture, component selection, schematic design, PCB layout and technical documentation.
Today I continue developing as a hardware engineer, with a particular interest in physical product development: defining the problem, justifying design choices and learning through validation.
A background combining field deployment and commissioning with electronic design and engineering documentation.

Architecture definition, component selection, schematic design, interfaces, power supply and PCB layout.
Microcontrollers, sensors, wired and wireless communications and hardware subsystem integration.
BOM, technical documentation, design reviews, fault diagnosis, instrumentation and test preparation.
Tools used across projects include KiCad, Altium Designer, LTspice and technical documentation tools.
I enjoy exchanging knowledge and connecting with engineers, teams and people developing electronic products. Feel free to reach out about technical ideas, discussions or collaboration.
